In honor of the 10th anniversary of the True North community, we are pleased to announce the Third Annual True North New England gathering. This will be a 3 day family event. It will be posted on the CCF, the True North forums as well as Facebook. It will be a group effort but Karen and I will be hosting it at our home.

We are in Whately, Massachusetts which is in the middle of the state right off Route 91. It's very easy to get to. We have about 4 acres of very flat, mowed grass in the middle of quiet farm country. This will be a rain or shine event. If we have in-climate weather, we can move light-ups and food lines inside my building which is filled with antique engines, cars, tractors and other collections. We can easily accommodate 100+ camping folks from tenters to RV’s. We have a large fire pit that will be lit each night if wanted. I can also have a couple friends on hand to run some hit n miss engines.

Friday and Saturday evening dinners and Sunday breakfast will be pot luck dishes. All other meals will be on our own. If you forget some food, there is a large grocery store about 10 minutes away. We have 2 refrigerators in the barn that will be available to store cold dishes as needed and there is an outdoor sink for dishwashing duties.

In addition to the porta potty we will be renting, the bathroom in the barn has a sink, toilet and hot shower for all to use.

Pets are welcome but must be leashed and picked up after.

One thing we have little of is shade so bring your own. Most folks camping won’t have shade till late in the afternoon.

This will be a 3 day event and early birds are welcome, just let me know. It's a nice area with lots of other local activities available. Included is other info like local interests and hotels nearby if you can't camp. We will have some fun activities planned again this year with prizes awarded.

If you have any questions PM me. Thanks. Steve.

Is it safe to assume this has been postponed due to the pandemic??

If it has a flame, I like it.
While it is certainly nice to find what you collect, in reality you must collect what you find.

I am not making that determination just yet. It’s still 8 weeks away and I’m hopeful that things will turn around by then. I will be making a decision either way soon.

To all. Karen and I are canceling the May TNNE 2020 gathering due to the Covid 19 outbreak. I'll have Karen post it on the Facebook also. We will see how things play out for a gathering later this year. It's just not worth putting my friends and family at potential risk. Thanks for understanding.
