I might be interested in a 152 or which which ever has the built it pump.. Especially one that the paint isn't in the greatest shape that I could make a frankie out of.

I can't wait to feel 70's again. It is hitting 98 here in Cedar City UT today and tomorrow. That is real hot for this area. Al will need a parka after getting used to those 110+ temps all summer!

Well darn guys!   I’d sure love to go but cant make this one.  Maybe next year depending on various family hunting plans and who draws what tag(s).  Wish I could meet so many of you.  I wish you all a safe and good time.

we should be getting a Northern California trip together soon.  Covid struck a blow and we blew off spring and summer trips.  Expecting we will have one put together shortly should anyone want to visit us up North.  Probably eastern part of the state within a couple hours of Sacramento area.

I have a handy gas plant that I know very little about.  If there is any interest in it I can bring that.  I am also still looking for an October 49 Lantern and would consider any model if any of you guys have one you want to part with.  Also interested in Deep Dutch oven that would handle a med to large turkey.

Whether or not any of this comes my way or goes your way, I am looking forward to the get together.

Hercel, I'll bring a couple of dutch ovens, not too sure if they are going to be big enough.

My understanding of the 1949 year is some of them are stamped A, B, C, or D.  D would be the one for the last quarter of the year and that will work too.

Here's hoping on the Cast Iron.

I know of a place not to far from San Francisco area with large enough DO’s for a turkey.  PM me if you get in a bind and I can see about swinging by for sizes and prices.  I seem to remember they are about $150-175.  Brand new.  Not mine, and obviously shipping is an issue.  Lol.

Bayou Classic handles some very nice cookers (and reasonable). I have a 7 gallon that has a stand and handles. I also have the angry native special iron pot --15 gallons or a pretty big goat in the pit! It has an 8' tripod to suspend over the fire.
*Dave, I killed and cooked a 20 pound turkey once, and only once!

What a great gathering.  Picked up a few tips on lantern repair and other cool stuff but I have to say getting together with a great bunch of guys was the best part.  Knowledge shared, food shared, stories shared, ...  Happy to have gotten the time to do it and a shame if you missed it.
A few pics will be coming as soon as I can figure it out.

Thanks for including me.

Had a great time seeing everyone also. But now I am sitting in a campground in Flagstaff with my truck at the dealership. The turbo inlet boot broke just outside Flagstaff. They are going to try and fit it in with all the other vehicles they are working on. At least it did not happen in the middle of nowhere! I am just extending my camping trip!

Finally made it home with some MacGyver repairs on one of my turbo pipes on my truck. Got to spend two extra days in Flagstaff. The part I needed is out of stock nation wide. Thank you Corona for shutting down the factory that makes the part I needed. At least I was not stranded in the middle of nowhere!

A big shout out to Shane for helping me with some options to get me back on the road and back home.

I will post some photos in the morning.
