Won't tell you about the guy who traveled a long distance, and sold us an amazing treasure trove of lanterns and stoves. It was friday night and he shows up. Someone said it was like a crack dealer on a street corner, everybody lined up to buy, guy had a huge wad of bills that we gave him. He was selling at unbelievably low prices some great in shape lanterns. That probably won't be seen again.  Oh happy days that day and Saturday.

Just remembered there were some other guys that we selling too and their prices were awesome also. Of coarse I was forced to buy from the mystery seller and the local sellers.

We had over 20 collectors from Colorado, Missouri, Oklahoma and of course Kansas. Not bad for the 4th year. Some came and went and most stayed at least one night. Many frequent members and quite a few new ones. We missed our great members from up north Nebraska. Hope to see them in the fall. I want to thank everyone that came for the fantastic time and success. Without you guys it wouldn’t be possible. I hope we can continue this for many years. For some the trip started off to a bad start but we made sure everything was taken care of to make the rest of their stay better. Even up to the last early morning wind and rain storm. Here are a few pictures I took. Wish I would have taken some from Friday nights light up as there was way over a hundred plus lamps, lanterns, and heaters lit. Thank you again to my old friends and to my new friends for the rememberable weekend. This is what it is all about!! FRIENDSHIP

One of the most impressive displays of lanterns and stoves.
Kameron's Coleman Arc, 319, poultry, red vented 327 + 427 quicklites, infrared, presentation lanterns, one of two known white lanterns. Larry showed some LZs and he brought his new to him poultry. Larry's stoves are remarkable and his under the table gold bond display made it look like was easy to find goldbonds. Brad brought an array of lanterns, his amazing arc, two different nilite giants, amish lancaster lantern hugely bright, economy lanterns, stoves, etc. His coleman lamp with a good bug screen was fun to see. Scott brought out some hard to find Sears and he says to forgot to pack some of them as he learned about the gathering the day before it started. I brought my half pump, poultry and economy model E, and my quick meal stove. Cory brought out a kamplite inverted, started it and it ran for 8 hours or so. He also brought out his beautiful perfection heater and ran it. He lit many others that he had. This group believes in lighting even the rare ones, so many lanterns were running it was pretty warm under the pavillion. It was a lot of fun. People that were non coleman collectors would come over and see the lanterns.

It's not easy to pull of something like this, a great big thank you to Kameron for organizing this.
