My first kerosene lantern (200A), and planning to order some parts. Just wanting to confirm it is similar to a normal lantern and no preheat cup is needed. Just the specific generator and mantle.

Sorry to bust your bubble but the 200A is a white gas burner not kerosene.

Definitely white gas. If it were converted to Kero it would need a preheat from a cup or torch to work

It's very common for sellers to call any liquid-fueled lantern, lamp or stove a "kerosene burner". They are usually wrong.

200A is a fine lantern, so clean it up and get it going!
