I picked up a couple beater 200A about two years ago. The first I repainted as a Jayhawk lantern for my college roommate. The second sat in the project pile for another year. This one is for a good friend, co-worker and kickass trumpet player. If you search YouTube for Trouble Funk you’ll see him in the brass section. Anyway, a restored and repainted 200A - July 1967.  This off the phone so apologies if it renders sideways!59221D87-9FD3-4B6A-AA2B-3A2C93D14AC5.jpeg

Sure came out great! It was very nice of you to tune it up for your friend. It definitely doesn’t look like a beater now 🙂

I need better friends.😁 A real gem would be somebody that isn’t 20 years older than me but still has the same interests.
My friends don’t call me “Lantern Levi” for nothin’,
if they did call me that.

Looking for bday lanterns 8/38, 8/41,
10/25, and 8/07

Don't be afraid to have an interest independent of your friends and never let a hobby get in the way of hanging out with your friends.  Both are important.

In fact hanging out with your friends may get them interested in the hobby. That’s how this disease is spread.

Well my parents aren’t too keen on me hanging out with old men I call friends.
