Traded a co-worker a nice 200A for this . Found at a yard sale for $20 with globe. Added pre-heat cup, that
was missing and new cap gasket, cleaned a bit and waxed.  I had the shade, not Coleman, but works fine.
According to the " Book" these were made from 1934-1939. Can only see a 10  on one side of bottom plate,
So October-? year. Burned some mantles tied higher, primed with alcohol, and lit right up first time in who knows how long running Coleman fuel, at PNW Coleman Collector Fall Gathering at Rasar State Park, WA.,
in early Sept a few weeks ago. Paint color is stated as " Indian Bronze " Overall Nice shape for the age.  IMG_3277.jpg  IMG_3278.jpg  IMG_3279.jpg  IMG_3304.jpg  IMG_3305.jpg  IMG_3306.jpg  IMG_3407.jpg  IMG_3408.jpg  IMG_3460.jpg  IMG_3461.jpg

If that's not the correct shade then I'd say you chose a great alternative. That looks awesome. The lamp itself is in fantastic shape. I think you did a good trade.

Nice!!  As much as I like a nice 200A, I would have traded for that in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the kind words.  i had some 200A's , then just found a nice pair at the thrift shop a few weeks ago for $15, one with glass.  I have never seen a
lamp like that around here for sale , the  shade came from eBay. So was happy to trade and become the current caretaker.

Are the 129 original globes expensive when they come up for sale?

I knew Mike sold them. I picked up 2 129's yesterday, one with an original globe. I was thinking of ordering the one from mike and putting this OE one away.  So far I need 2 shades, a finial, a preheater cup and a knob.

Keep your eyes peeled at OCP. He had some straightlines awhile back... Or post an add here in the classifieds if you're looking for original.
