One month to go.

Hopefully the weather holds out, we're still recovering from that nasty buisiness around Christmas. It left the roads, and our driveway, a big mess lol.

I am a new comer to the Forum but I have been a Coleman Collector for over 20 years. I’m excited to be invited to the gathering. I attended the gathering at Wilson and the gathering at Wellington Lake. Chris Shippley has kept me updated about Holyrood gathering. I plan to attend if the weather permits. My wife may attend and I’m planning to ask a friend who I’m hoping to get into our fun hobby. I will bring some of my favorite GPAs from my modest colection and a few things to trade. Mostly I want to get aquatinted and see the cool things in everyone’s collections. Let me know a link to get photos of last years gathering at the fire station so I can use it to tempt my friend to attend. I will bring some of my Wife’s good cooking for the potluck lunch. Thanks for planning this event. I really enjoyed the last two North Central Kansas Gatherings!

Well dam. I thought I was going to be able to make it. We had my boys birthday party scheduled for this last weekend but everyone in my household is sick. The only other available day of course now is the 23rd. So now I am not going to be able to make it because of their birthday party again.

Looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate for this weekend. I think it would be best to postpone it for a couple of weeks. Let me know what you all think about this.

Your call Cory. Wouldn't hurt my feelings none and would be alot easier on the folks that have to travel some miles to attend.

yea I think we should wait a couple of weeks and do it.

Theres not a lot of point having it if people can't come due to weather

I think postponing it is a good idea. I have about a 3.5 hour drive one way and wouldn’t come on risky roads. I appreciate you for planning this event and really hope to attend.

Thanks for the heads up . Actually we drove through Holyrood This evening . Oh man . We got off I-70 drove the 11 miles to Ellsworth At a comfortable 20mph. Stopped at Casy's  to clean the wipers . There was a lady there We followed in .Needed help with there broken passenger wiper. I offered to help fix it and took it inside for some pliers . As i was working on bending this mess back together ,the lady at the counter told me she drove off and left. I have her windshield wiper .I left it there with the clerk and we headed home. (Crazy people).
