This was one of my first evil bay purchases I made back this summer and also the first time I put it to work. It's an odd color but it's kinda handy. Has the area on top to preheat your coffee cup while you're waiting for your coffee to brew it also simmers down better than my gas range. This is how I am spending my Sunday morning waiting on the girlfriend to wake up so we can finally go out and find our Christmas bush. Wired color yes but I think I'll keep it. I would like to find one of the green colored ones but I am not willing to pay an arm and a leg like what I see online for them. Hope everyone is having a good Sunday morning! Hey, can you give a bit of detail and photos on how the fuel cylinder is connected to the stove?  I have a pink picnic stove exactly like that.  Thanks

I got that adapter off of Ebay the guy is still selling one right now. It just connects the new style butane canisters to the old style LP gas appliances with a special adapter. Just search "LP Gas Picnic Stove Conversion Adapter" on ebay. Cool setup Zachary.  With one of these adapters that go for under $2, you can refill that canister with the $3 butane canisters.

What do I type in to find that Jim? Looks like something I would use. I have way more of the top cans than the bottom ones since they are so much cheaper.

I just typed in butane adapter and scrolled down until I saw it.  Some sellers want a lot more money.  Note that if you have an Xcursion lantern that requires the Powermax canisters, this adapter will allow you to fill the lantern.  For that I believe you fill from the shorter butane/propane canister.

Here's one example.  I don't recall getting any o-rings with mine, nor do I recall needing them.

I run the same setup on my green picnic even though I have two oem coleman canisters for it.

I always look at these on eBay or whenever I run across 'em (in pink or the anniversary silver, particularly), but admit the main reason I've never bitten is because I like to use my Coleman stuff and these single-burners are difficult to fuel.

Didn't know about the adapter...

Thanks, ZRE2009!

Well for that price and free shipping I think I'm going to order a few of them just to have. Thanks Jim!

Hey no problem Chris. I thought they're a good way to bring back life to a good old stove even though the fuel cans aren't available anymore. May not be the same but I don't mind it.
