Has anyone seen the new Netflix movie "The Highwaymen" with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson?  There is a scene when they are camped in the woods.  Coleman lanterns.  Add another movie to the list!

I saw it about a month ago and it was really good. Interesting to see it concentrate on the pursuers, and not just on Bonnie and Clyde. Woody Harrelson was excellent as usual. My wife rolled her eyes when I said, "Check out the Coleman, and it's period correct!"

I agree, great movie!  I'm with you, you never get to see the other side.  My wife reacted the same way when I pointed out the Coleman's.

Was watching the 1960's movie "Heat of the Night" and when they run through the garbage dump, there is a green Coleman stove stand that is shown set up.

The Highwaymen was an excellent movie. My wife also shook her head and laughed at me when I pointed out the lanterns. It must be a wife thing.

I have been watching the old Six Million Dollar Man series from the 70s (nbc.com), several Coleman lanterns in different episodes.
Its always darkest before you light the Coleman lantern!
