I love accessories especially lantern safes and reflectors.  I think I got all the reflectors and safes Coleman made.

Blue wood reflector for the 242
Red wood for the 200a
Black wood for the 220/228
Black plastic slanted one for the 220/228
Current metal one

200a and 220/228 metal and plastic safes.

I know the cons about them like rim rash, chipped paint, etc., but I love the look of them on lanterns.  Plus they are functional. Most of my safes are on nickel founts so no rim rash.

Yes, they made them.  80's 90's I think.  I'll see if I can dig up one in the package for a picture later.

Do you metal and plastic safes?

If you don't have the folding reflector, below is a pdf scan of mine (the white paper in the center is just to reduce pdf scan size). If you print it out "actual size", you will have an accurate pattern to make one out of aluminum flashing if you want. You can put a spare pack of mantles underneath for backup.

There are 2 types/sizes of folding, you got both? (LOL)

And if the accessories don't have to be Coleman-made, you can further trick out your lantern with a Sparky (whumpstick) and an onboard funnel.

I'll see if I can find the ones I have and let you know.  Might be over the weekend. I don't remember exactly, just know I had 2 different packages at one time.

What is a globe wrap?

Awesome case, Russell.  I saw the thread a while back about it.  Wish I had one.

Globe wrap is a Coleman foam and fabric wrap with a velcro catch. It keeps them from rattling around while in transport..campinut.

Aren't there two different types of plastic safes?  One type (black) snaps over the outside of the fount rim.  Seems I remember something about another type (Canadian maybe?)  that snaps on the inside of the fount rim.

Chris, go look at my post in Classified.  I didn't find my folding ones yes, but did find a 290 on NOS on card.  You have first crack at it.

Is this some sort of universal reflector or is it a re-purposed deal? It fits my 252A perfect.
